This time, they\u2019ll run.<\/p>\n<p>Johnny is back in the <strong>In a Violent Nature 2<\/strong> trailer, coming soon from Independent Film Company and Shudder.<\/p>\n<p>In the slasher sequel, Johnny heads to a summer camp, where he crosses paths with a young, outcast camper who is forced to spend the night with his counselor sister and her friends at their annual end-of-season party.<\/p>\n<p>In a Violent Nature first assistant director <strong>Nathaniel Wilson <\/strong>steps into the director\u2019s chair for the followup.<\/p>\n<p>Original director <strong>Chris Nash<\/strong> returns to write the script in addition to producing alongside Peter Kuplowsky, Shannon Hanmer, and Michael James Regan.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ry Barrett<\/strong> reprises his role as Johnny, joined by <strong>Lucas Nguyen<\/strong>, <strong>Olivia Scriven<\/strong> (Blood Quantum),<strong> Laurie Babin<\/strong> (Red Rooms), <strong>Fionn Laird<\/strong> (\u201cThe Institute\u201d), <strong>Donald MacLean Jr.<\/strong> (The Craft: Legacy), and <strong>Evan Marsh<\/strong> (Shazam).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith this sequel, fans can expect an exponential increase of the ol\u2019 ultraviolence with a distinct hook, but one that still collides with storied slasher traditions,\u201d Kuplowsky commented.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/1202292-in-a-violent-nature-2-0.jpg\"\/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"In a Violent Nature introduced audiences to horror with a brand new hook.
