Should they hold on, Floyd will rise up the ranks of acts with the most Number 1 albums in the UK<\/a>; joining the likes of blur<\/a> and George Michael<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Sabrina Carpenter<\/a>‘s enduring Short N’ Sweet<\/a> edges back up the chart, looking to lift two (2).<\/p>\n

As he announces eighth studio album PLAY<\/a>, and tracks for this week\u2019s highest new Singles Chart<\/a> entry with Old Phone<\/a>, Ed Sheeran<\/a> could see former chart-topper +-=\u00f7\u00d7 (Tour Collection)<\/a> return to the Top 5, up three midweek (3).\u00a0<\/p>\n

Andy Bell<\/a> eyes his first-ever solo Albums Chart entry with third studio LP Ten Crowns (4). As a member of English synth-pop duo Erasure<\/a> alongside Vince Clarke, Andy\u2019s already earned five UK Number 1 albums: The Innocents<\/a> (1988), Wild!<\/a> (1989), Chorus<\/a> (1991), Pop! \u2013 The First 20 Hits<\/a> (1992) and I Say I Say I Say<\/a> (1994).\u00a0<\/p>\n

Manchester-formed rockers James<\/a> move towards a 13th Top 10 album with latest collection James (Live at the Acropolis) (5). The band scored their first-ever chart-topper with Yummy<\/a> in April 2024.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Newcastle native Andrew Cushin<\/a> could be celebrating his first Top 10 album. His second studio LP Love Is For Everyone tracks for a Number 10 debut.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Reigning Singles Chart champ Alex Warren<\/a> is on the rebound with You\u2019ll Be Alright, Kid (Chapter 1)<\/a>, up four midweek (12).\u00a0<\/p>\n

And, finally, Californian singer-songwriter Suzanne Vega<\/a> hopes to bank a seventh Top 40 record with tenth studio album Flying With Angels (31).<\/p>\n
