Sky has secured the original series Fightland \u2013 set in the cut-throat, high-stakes world of British boxing \u2013 with its ongoing partner, STARZ. The crime drama is a gripping story of redemption, betrayal, and brutal ambition in and out of the ring and is executive-produced by Curtis \u201850 Cent\u2019 Jackson through his G-Unit Film & Television.<\/p>\n
The eight-episode high-octane series follows Maduka \u2018Duke\u2019 Kilroy (Howard Charles), a disgraced, formerly incarcerated boxing champion who returns to London to seek vengeance against the crime family he thinks betrayed him. With edge-of-your-seat action and a cast of dangerous characters, this is a world of money and power never seen before.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Nicholas Pinnock\u00a0(Hedda,\u00a0For Life)\u00a0has been cast as Kingsley Marshall, a man with many enemies; he is a Jamaican born, South London bred criminal kingpin with his fingers in the worlds of boxing and gambling.\u00a0Deborah Ayorinde\u00a0(THEM, Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue)\u00a0will play the role of Joy Marshall, Kingsley Marshall\u2019s wife who is trying to build her own empire. Charles Babalola\u00a0(The Outlaws, Black Mirror)\u00a0has been cast in the role of Ezekiel \u2018Zeek\u2019 Marshall, the brash and unpredictable son of Kingsley Marshall.\u00a0<\/p>\n Anita-Joy Uwajeh\u00a0(Vampire Academy, Atlanta)\u00a0will play Cebella \u2018Cece\u2019 Marshall, the highly intelligent, business-savvy daughter of Kingsley Marshall, who runs the Marshalls\u2019 gambling operation. Tahirah Sharif\u00a0(The Haunting of Bly Manor, The Tower)\u00a0will play Kim Harper, a confident ring card girl entrenched in the London boxing world who befriends Duke upon his return to London.
