Specialist cops are cracking down on anti-social behaviour in Glasgow city centre.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Due\u00a0to community concerns, officers in the city centre\u00a0recently carried out a ‘day of action against’ anti-social behaviour.<\/p>\n

As part of the day, community cops were joined by officers from the force’s Divisional Violence Reduction Unit.<\/p>\n

During it, four people were reported for alleged offences, including drug possession.<\/p>\n

Several stop-and-searches were also carried out.<\/p>\n

A Police Scotland<\/a> spokesperson said: “In response to community concerns, Glasgow city centre<\/a> officers recently undertook a day of action against anti-social behaviour, accompanied by our colleagues in the Divisional Violence Reduction Unit.<\/p>\n

“Four\u00a0people\u00a0were reported for offences including drug possession, and a number of stop searches were carried out.<\/p>\n
