K-pop idols BLACKPINK<\/a> follow up their 2022 chart-topper BORN PINK<\/a> with DEADLINE. ROS\u00c9<\/a>, LISA<\/a>, JENNIE<\/a> and JISOO<\/a>‘s latest EP includes the 2025 Top 20 single JUMP<\/a>, plus focus track GO.<\/p>\n

After clinching the first chart-topper of 2026 with WHERE IS MY HUSBAND!<\/a>, and ahead of her performance at this weekend’s BRIT Awards<\/a>\u00a0in Manchester,\u00a0RAYE<\/a>\u00a0returns with Nightingale Lane., the latest cut from her second studio album THIS MUSIC MAY CONTAIN HOPE., due March 27.<\/p>\n

Speaking of the BRITs, two-time nominated artist Skye Newman<\/a> strides into 2026 with her first single of the year, Walk. Can she make it a week to remember by picking up an award as well as a fourth Top 40 hit?<\/p>\n

Independent London-based singer-songwriter CHARLS shares a familiar story of frustration on Begging On My Birthday. Tired of begging for her partner’s attention, she’s after “the bare minimum.”<\/p>\n

On the track, CHARLS explains: “A common occurrence was that I was the organiser of everything. I\u2019m definitely guilty of taking up a lot of space by being overly maternal but the effort I put in for my partner on his birthday just wasn\u2019t reciprocated.<\/p>\n

“The overall statement in the song is, if you can\u2019t show up for me on my birthday then we\u2019re pretty much damned for the rest of the year, aren\u2019t we? I love that you can hear some of my favourite indie influences in this song, specifically Sweet Disposition<\/a> by The Temper Trap<\/a>.”<\/p>\n
