Skoulas<\/p>\n<p>The weekly Wednesday service will begin on May 5 and continue right through the summer, and over the October week <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thescottishsun.co.uk\/topic\/holidays\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">holidays<\/a>, before finishing on October 27.<\/p>\n<p>And for fans of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thescottishsun.co.uk\/topic\/croatia\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Croatia<\/a>, the new Pula flight will be very welcome, making it the first time Jet 2 has flown directly the area.<\/p>\n<p>Located at the southern tip of Croatia\u2019s Istrian peninsula, the coastal city is a renowned for its well-preserved Roman ruins, especially the 1st-century Roman amphitheatre, the Pula Arena.<\/p>\n<p>During the summer months, numerous events are held there. Recent concerts have seen the likes of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thescottishsun.co.uk\/who\/dua-lipa\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dua Lipa<\/a>, Lenny Kravitz, and Duran Duran perform, and in the past greats including Luciano Pavarotti have wowed the crowds.<\/p>\n<p>Every July, film screenings from the Pula film Festival are shown and an ice-rink is created there in winter during the Advent in Pula celebrations.<\/p>\n<p>Pular Arena hols events and festival throughout the yearCredit: Alamy<\/p>\n<p>The city has a gorgeous nearby turquoise beachCredit: Getty<\/p>\n<p>The city combines ancient history \u2013 the main square was home to the ancient Roman Forum \u2013 Italian-influenced culture, stunning <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thescottishsun.co.uk\/topic\/beaches\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">beaches<\/a>, and fabulous seafood dining and is an ideal base for exploring the Adriatic coast.
