Now in its third year, it will run from 18-26 April.<\/p>\n<p>Organised and funded by Liverpool Business Improvement District, Liverpool Restaurant Week launched as an opportunity to cast a spotlight on the restaurants and eateries of Liverpool city centre.<\/p>\n<p>Each venue creates a culinary or drink offer to take part in the week, ranging from \u00a35 to \u00a335. With an urge to explore the city plate by plate, foodies are encouraged to try venues they\u2019ve been to before, sample new cuisine or simply experiment by having different courses at various venues over the spread of a week.<\/p>\n<p>100 venues took part in 2025, with \u00a3271k in dedicated offers downloaded by foodies. 60% of Liverpool Restaurant Week visitors went to three or more venues.<\/p>\n<p>The food and drink sector has grown substantially in Liverpool in recent years and now represents 36.7% of the city centre economy. In the latest data on sales gathered by Beauclair, spend on Food and Drink increased by 4.1% in Liverpool this year, compared with 2024. In January 20206, spend on food and drink was up 11% compared with 2025.<\/p>\n<p>The food and drink sector, which includes accommodation, represents 9.3% of jobs, totalling 20,776.<\/p>\n<p>Bill Addy is CEO of Liverpool Business Improvement District, says: \u201cLiverpool Restaurant Week goes from strength to strength and we are delighted to be able to bring back this celebration to the city. It gives a boost to an industry that\u2019s a vital part of our city centre economy, in the midst of what is a tough time for the sector.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have such an incredible range of culinary offers and vibrant venues it is a great opportunity to sample as much as you can.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Peter Kinsella is the co-founder of Lunya and Lunyalita, adds: \u201cLiverpool Restaurant Week provides the city\u2019s restaurants a superb opportunity to give back to their many customers for a year of wonderful support and in turn for all our customers to come out and try some of the many fantastic offers that Liverpool\u2019s restaurants have on for the week \u2013 supporting their favourites and trying some new ones.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Liverpool Restaurant Week returns this spring, celebrating the city\u2019s characterful hospitality offer.
