Meghan Markle has shared a new picture of her son Prince Archie to mark his sixth birthday today<\/a>. The picture shows the youngster with his back to the camera as he looks out to sea<\/a>. There is a beautiful orange sunset in the background, with his face perfectly positioned where the sun is.<\/p>\n

Sharing the image to her 2.8million Instagram<\/a> followers, Meghan<\/a> said: “Our son. Our sun. Happy 6th birthday to Archie<\/a>!<\/p>\n

“Thank you for all of the love, prayers, and warm wishes for our sweet boy. He\u2019s six! Where did the time go?<\/p>\n

“(And for all of you who came to celebrate with us at his party last weekend, thank you for making his birthday so incredibly special \u2764\ufe0f)<\/p>\n

The young royal was born whilst the Duke and Duchess of Sussex lived in the UK, with the family moving to America shortly before his first birthday in 2020.<\/p>\n

Born on May 6, 2019, the couple showed their newborn son to the world during a photocall at Windsor Castle two days after his birth.<\/p>\n

Archie is thought to be celebrating his birthday at home in California with Meghan and his sister, three-year-old Lilibet. Prince Harry<\/a> is set to spend the day separate from his son, with the Duke of Sussex travelling to Las Vegas<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Harry, 40, will take part in conversations hosted by Dr Tessy Ojo, the CEO of the Diana Award.<\/p>\n

Despite largely keeping their children out of the spotlight, Meghan has shared frequent pictures of both Archie and Lilibet to her Instagram<\/a> account this year.<\/p>\n

The 43-year-old, who rejoined Instagram<\/a> back in January, has delighted fans with updates on her two little ones – including Lilibet, who will turn four next month.<\/p>\n
