Veteran Krzysztof W\u0142odarczyk and Adam Balski will meet for the right to be WBC bridgerweight titleholder Kevin Lerena’s mandatory challenger.<\/p>\n
For the 44-year Wlodarczyk, Balski is his first fight in close to 18 months. He was once the WBC cruiserweight champion, eventually losing the title to Grigory Drozd. He then continued his career but was knocked out by Murat Gassiev in a fight for the IBF cruiser crown.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Wlodarczyk has since won 12 straight fights \u2013 all at cruiserweight. In Balski, he fights a 34-year-old who turned pro during \u201cDiablo\u2019s\u201d reign as WBC champ. He has won four contests since losing to Alen \u201cThe Savage\u201d Babic in London in 2022.<\/p>\n
