Known for its beautiful parks and relaxed atmosphere, the city has scored highly for its air quality, green spaces and public <a data-link-tracking=\"InArticle|Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.express.co.uk\/comment\/expresscomment\/2088045\/parks-national-lottery-heritage-fund\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">parks<\/a>. Travel needs for Brits looking for a holiday are changing and one search term in particular has surged by a staggering 9,900% in the last year \u2013 the \u2018greenest <a data-link-tracking=\"InArticle|Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.express.co.uk\/news\/uk\/2101945\/pretty-city-beautiful-historic-streets\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">city<\/a> in the world\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>Research has suggested people are picking cities to visit that blend exploration with outdoor relaxation and open green spaces. If that sounds like a combination too-good-to-be true, it turns out it isn\u2019t with many cities across the world classed as \u2018nature rich\u2019. A 20-minute metro ride from the city centre takes you to Oslomarka forest and the trails around Sognsvann Lake.<\/p>\n<p>There are also a number of impressive beaches in <a data-link-tracking=\"InArticle|Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.express.co.uk\/latest\/norway\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Oslo<\/a>, primarily located on the Bygdoy peninsula which offers sandy shores, green spaces and is easy to access from the city centre.<\/p>\n<p>The most popular beach is the bustling Huk which has sandy spots, grassy lawns and a beach volleyball court.
