Police have launched an investigation after a man was found injured in a street in Keynsham.<\/p>\n
Witnesses have told Bristol Live they saw a large number of police officers as well as the air ambulance in Keynsham on Saturday night (February 28) and there were claims that a person had been stabbed.<\/p>\n
Police have not confirmed that anybody had suffered such an injury, but did confirm a man in his 20s had been found in the area and had been injured.<\/p>\n
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said: “At 10.11pm on Saturday, February 28 we were called by the ambulance service reporting that a man had been found injured in Coronation Avenue in Keynsham.<\/p>\n
“Officers attended and the man, who is aged in his 20s, was taken to hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.<\/p>\n
“An investigation is underway and officers have been carrying out enquiries, including CCTV reviews, in the area to establish the full circumstances of the incident.<\/p>\n
