The Mirror&#8217;s royal editor Russell Myers revealed on Hello&#8217;s A Right Royal Podcast.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"poster-img\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/8e38b1be08529b40e02284733e6c746e.jpeg\" data-sctrack=\"op-poster-img\" alt=\"King Charles opens palace records to police in royal investigation into Andrew\" fetchpriority=\"high\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Myers, who authored the new book William and Catherine: An Intimate Inside Story, didn&#8217;t completely rule out a reunion, adding: &#8220;Maybe there is a time in the future.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>However, despite the positive outlook, he surmised that the hatchet won&#8217;t be buried anytime soon.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;There is an awful lot going on,&#8221; he shared of William&#8217;s full plate, detailing Princess Kate&#8217;s recent cancer treatment, King Charles&#8217; current cancer treatment and raising three children &#8211; alongside other royal responsibilities.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>According to the expert, William&#8217;s long list of duties must and will take precedence over patching things up with his brother.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"poster-img\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/a876d372eaa2d2458ddce3a99e171cf0.jpeg\" data-sctrack=\"op-poster-img\" alt=\"\u2018Public humiliation session\u2019: Andrew\u2019s fall from prince to pauper\" fetchpriority=\"high\"\/><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;When you&#8217;re looking at the checklist of things that are important to them, that&#8217;s way down the list,&#8221; the author explained.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>It comes after Myers&#8217;s recent claims that Harry, 41, and William&#8217;s, 43, alleged brawl was &#8220;massively overblown&#8221;.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Duke of Sussex made headlines in 2023 when he released his memoir Spare, which contained a number of claims regarding the royal family, particularly the Prince of Wales.<\/p>\n<p>The royal raised eyebrows when he recalled what he described as a &#8220;physical attack&#8221; by his brother in 2019 following an argument about Harry&#8217;s wife Meghan Markle.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Flash forward to now, an insider told Myers that Harry&#8217;s decision to air the argument was &#8220;a cheap shot&#8221;.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTensions were running very high, and yes, there certainly were cross words exchanged that on reflection were regrettable, but the Prince [William] is adamant there was no physical violence,&#8221; Myers wrote in his new tome.<\/p>\n<p>What&#8217;s more, a separate source disclosed that palace staff had been &#8220;ground down&#8221; by the Sussexes at the time, something that William and his wife Kate Middleton were not going to condone.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt wasn\u2019t peddling a tabloid narrative to stick up for staff that were deeply unhappy to the point of walking away or having their mental health being affected,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"poster-img\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/55d68697d3d9be6bdea83233017edee7.jpeg\" data-sctrack=\"op-poster-img\" alt=\"Harry and Meghan\u2019s Sussex titles under threat after Jordan trip controversy\" fetchpriority=\"high\"\/><\/p>\n<p>In Spare, the Duke of Sussex alleged that his brother confronted him at his then-residence Nottingham Cottage in 2019, where the future King called Harry&#8217;s wife Meghan &#8220;difficult,&#8221; &#8220;rude&#8221; and &#8220;abrasive&#8221;.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The argument saw Harry accuse William of &#8220;parrot[ing of] the press narrative&#8221;, which allegedly resulted in the future King erupting into name-calling aimed at his younger brother.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>According to the Duke of Sussex, he tried to calm his brother down during the tense encounter, offering him a glass of water to diffuse the situation.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;He set down the water, called me another name, then came at me. It all happened so fast. So very fast,&#8221; Harry wrote.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;He grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace, and he knocked me to the floor. I landed on the dog&#8217;s bowl, which cracked under my back, the pieces cutting into me.
