Arsenal<\/a> have expressed interest in signing Mohammed Kudus from West Ham<\/a> this summer, according to reports.<\/p>\n

The Gunners have been linked with a move for Kudus during previous windows<\/a> and are set to revive their interest in the Ghana international.<\/p>\n

Mikel Arteta<\/a> is keen to add more creativity to his squad at the Emirates Stadium following another unsuccessful title challenge.<\/p>\n

Nico Williams is believed to be Arteta\u2019s top target for that position<\/a> but a move for the Euro 2024 winner looks unlikely, leaving Arsenal looking elsewhere for attacking reinforcements.<\/p>\n

talkSPORT<\/a> say the Champions League semi-finalists are showing \u2018fresh interest\u2019 in Kudus and have added the Hammers star to their list of potential transfer targets for the summer.<\/p>\n

While struggling for consistency, Kudus has produced some dazzling performances in east London following his \u00a338m from Ajax in 2023<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Despite his glimpses of brilliance, West Ham are ready to cash in on Kudus as they look to raise some much-needed funds for Graham Potter\u2019s transfer kitty.<\/p>\n

The early optimism of Potter\u2019s arrival<\/a> has quickly evaporated, with West Ham just 17th in the Premier League with three games remaining.<\/p>\n

Winning less than a quarter of their league games, West Ham may have still been in a relegation scrap had Leicester City, Ipswich Town and Southampton all endured miserable seasons.<\/p>\n

Potter wants West Ham to invest in his squad this summer and a potentially lucrative sale of Kudus would raise more money and make room for new additions.<\/p>\n

According to the Daily Mail<\/a>, Kudus\u2019 West Ham contract contains an eye-watering \u00a3125m release clause for Saudi Arabian sides.<\/p>\n

For Premier League clubs, the buyout clause sits at \u00a385m and it is that figure that West Ham hope to reach this summer if they sell the Ghanaian.<\/p>\n

That number would be beyond Arsenal and Liverpool, who have also been linked with a move<\/a>, and West Ham will need to lower their expectations following Kudus\u2019 inconsistent campaign.<\/p>\n

Kudus has six goal involvements in the Premier League this season, a poor return for a player who contributed 14 goals in all competitions during his first season at the London Stadium.<\/p>\n

After drawing 1-1 with London rivals Tottenham on Sunday<\/a>, West Ham have gone eight matches without a win.<\/p>\n

\u2018It\u2019s easy to say the season\u2019s done, we can\u2019t get relegated and there\u2019s nothing to play for,\u2019 said Hammers captain Jarrod Bowen. \u2018But this is a club that prides itself on hard work and passion.<\/p>\n

\u2018There are three games left to go, and we\u2019re all determined to go and win. Ultimately, this season we haven\u2019t done enough as a group of players to be high enough in the table.<\/p>\n

\u2018It\u2019s self-pride to go out there every single week because the worst thing is to come out of a game and think you could\u2019ve done more.<\/p>\n

\u2018But I think talk is cheap, we have to show it. We know we should be in a better position and have done better.<\/p>\n

\u2018But we\u2019re here now, and it\u2019s down to us to win those remaining three games. That\u2019s got to be the mindset to play for this club.\u2019<\/p>\n
