<\/p>\nA group of Liverpool dance students have taken the national spotlight by storm after securing a place in the semi-finals of\u00a0Britain\u2019s Got Talent.<\/p>\n
Students from\u00a0LMA Liverpool\u00a0delivered a striking ensemble performance during the show\u2019s auditions, which aired on Saturday 21 February, impressing judges and viewers alike.<\/p>\n
The routine featured a cohort of dancers aged 19\u201324 and focused entirely on unity and collaboration. Choreographed by internationally renowned artist\u00a0Sadeck Berrabah, also known as Murmuration, the piece was deliberately created without soloists \u2014 mirroring the demands of professional and screen-based dance work.<\/p>\n
Leading the audition was student Ruby-Leigh Wilson, alongside Charlie Newton, Michael Davies and Alexandra Lowe, who all played key roles in shaping the performance and representing the academy.<\/p>\n
Filmed at the iconic\u00a0Winter Gardens Blackpool, the audition followed an intense rehearsal schedule that ran alongside the students\u2019 undergraduate and postgraduate studies. Rehearsals began at LMA\u2019s Liverpool campus before moving to Blackpool for on-structure sessions ahead of the live filming.<\/p>\n
Students described the experience as transformative, crediting the process with strengthening both their confidence and ambition within the television and commercial dance industries.<\/p>\n

One dancer said: <\/strong>\u201cHearing what the judges said about our performance made us want to push even harder. It reinforced why we\u2019re doing this.\u201d<\/p>\n Since the audition aired, the group has also been filming with the show back on home turf in Liverpool, including scenes at the\u00a0Royal Liver Building.<\/p>\n Kemal Kuguloglu, Head of Dance at LMA Liverpool, said the moment marks a huge milestone for the academy.<\/p>\n He said:<\/strong> \u201cThe level of professionalism, commitment and teamwork the students have shown has been outstanding.
