The Daily Express, similarly, led with \u201cTrump is \u2018very disappointed\u2019 in Sir Keir over Iran help\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The Daily Mail went predictably further with the frankly crackers \u201cUS lambasts \u2018hand-wringing, pearl-clutching\u2019 Starmer as Kemi says he\u2019s \u2018scared\u2019 of his own voters\u201d, a problem at least Badenoch hasn\u2019t got to worry about, what with not having any.<\/p>\n<p>But the most inventive coverage went to the Sun, whose US-based editor-at-large Harry Cole finally made himself useful aside from his little-watched YouTube show Harry Cole Saves The West to apparently speak to the president himself. \u201cTRUMP SKEWERS KEIR,\u201d ran the headline, \u201cDithering Starmer is pandering to Muslim voters by not joining my Iran blitz, slams Trump as war of words escalates\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>And the actual wording of the conversation between the pair which warranted such a stark headline? \u201cAsked about accusations that Sir Keir is pandering to Muslim voters for political reasons, the President said \u2018it could be\u2019.\u201d An absolute slam-dunk from the president known to be such a granular expert in UK voting demographics!<\/p>\n<p>Cole later appeared on Times Radio to side with the US president in his \u201cwar of words\u201d with Starmer. \u201cHe used a wonderful turn of phrase \u2013 it\u2019s \u2018woke island\u2019,\u201d gushed the easily impressed Sun man.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Harry Cole Saves The West continues to draw Sun readers to its YouTube channel in their dozens.
