Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal have offered Bruno Fernandes a contract to sign for them.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The club have a massive financial war chest at their disposal ahead of the window reopening.<\/p>\n

However, talkSPORT understands that Manchester United<\/a> insist Fernandes is not for sale.<\/p>\n

Despite that, Al Hilal have offered the midfielder a three-year deal with the club.<\/p>\n

It’s understood Al Hilal could place a British record bid in an attempt to prise Fernandes away from Old Trafford – Moises Caicedo’s \u00a3115m move from Brighton to Chelsea is the current record. <\/p>\n

However, Al Hilal are also hopeful they could land the 30-year-old for as little as \u00a360m. <\/p>\n

It comes after they previously missed out on signing Mohamed Salah<\/a> from Liverpool<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Egyptian penned a new two-year contract extension<\/a> in April to keep him at Anfield until 2027.<\/p>\n

Al Hilal are understood to have at least \u00a3510million put aside to spend on a marquee signing this summer as a result.<\/p>\n

The club had previously offered the amount to Salah in wages on a three-year deal worth \u00a3170million-a-season.<\/p>\n

Fernandes is also under contract at United until 2027, whilst the club hold an option to extend it by a further year.<\/p>\n

It follows the 30-year-old’s decision to sign a new deal<\/a> at Old Trafford last summer.<\/p>\n

The Portuguese is the current Red Devils skipper as well as their top scorer this season.<\/p>\n

Since joining the club in 2020, Fernandes has scored 98 goals and added 85 assists in 285 appearances for the Red Devils.<\/p>\n

Of those goal contributions, 37 have been this season as the former Sporting Lisbon<\/a> man has shone in an otherwise underwhelming campaign for Ruben Amorim’s side.<\/p>\n

As for Al Hilal, the Riyadh-based club won a record-extending 19th league title last season.<\/p>\n

However, their title defence has not gone as planned with the season almost over.<\/p>\n

With five matches remaining in the Saudi Pro League, they sit second in the table and six points adrift of leaders Al Ittihad.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the club have parted company with manager Jorge Jesus to leave them without a permanent boss.<\/p>\n

His departure came following their semi-final exit in the AFC Champions League Elite.<\/p>\n

A long-term successor has yet to be confirmed by the club since Jesus’ exit.<\/p>\n
