Lady Louise Windsor’s appearance at the upcoming Easter Sunday service with the Royal Family remains uncertain as the event falls during term time at St Andrew’s University.<\/p>\n

The 21-year-old royal is currently in her third year studying English at the Scottish university, where the Prince and Princess of Wales also attended.<\/p>\n

While Lady Louise has joined the Royal Family at major events in recent years, including the King’s Coronation and Christmas Day church services, her academic commitments may prevent her from leaving Scotland.<\/p>\n

The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh’s daughter has largely grown up out of the public spotlight.<\/p>\n

She has attended significant royal gatherings but maintains a low-key student life at St Andrews, where Scottish degree programmes typically run for four years.<\/p>\n

Lady Louise has embraced university life beyond her academic studies, joining various clubs and societies at St Andrews.<\/p>\n

It was revealed last year that she had become a member of the St Andrew’s University Officers’ Training Corps.<\/p>\n

Her military training has included basic weapons instruction, leadership lessons and navigating difficult terrain under pressure.<\/p>\n

She has managed to balance this training alongside her English degree coursework.<\/p>\n

The training could align with her reported career interests, as she has previously stated on her LinkedIn page: “I am interested in pursuing a career in the military, diplomacy, or law.”<\/p>\n

If Lady Louise chooses to enlist in the Army after completing her studies, she would become the first female royal to do so since 1945.<\/p>\n

That was when then Princess Elizabeth joined the Auxiliary Territorial Service during the Second World War.<\/p>\n

According to the university’s student newspaper, in January 2024 she played a “powerful and cynical witch” named Nilvana in a play called Dragon Theatre.<\/p>\n

Lady Louise’s university boyfriend, Felix da Silva-Clamp, joined her at the Sandringham Horse Driving Trials in June 2024.<\/p>\n

The pair were spotted taking walks together between events, with Lady Louise smiling as Silva-Clamp rode on the back of her carriage.<\/p>\n

Silva-Clamp, educated at Melbourne Grammar School in Australia, reportedly worked part-time as a “gelato artist” at Jannetta’s Gelateria in St Andrews.<\/p>\n

He is the son of Kensington-based solicitor Jonathan Charles William da Silva-Clamp and Australian-born Kendall Clamp.<\/p>\n
