Two men were arrested on suspicion of murder in Leigh after a man self presented himself at a hospital in Leeds with gunshot wounds.<\/p>\n

He is currently receiving medical treatment and is said to be in a stable condition.<\/p>\n Two men, aged 27 and 44, who were previously arrested in connection with the investigation but they have since been released facing no further action.<\/p>\n A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: “Two further arrests have been made after a man was injured in a firearms discharge last week. A pre-planned operation involving officers from West Yorkshire Police and Greater Manchester Police was executed in the Leigh area of Greater Manchester yesterday afternoon (Monday, March 2).<\/p>\n “Two men, aged 24 and 47, who are both from the Leeds area, were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and are being transferred into custody in West Yorkshire. The arrests follow a 29-year-old man presenting at Leeds General Infirmary last Tuesday with injuries consistent with a firearms discharge.
