Sean Fusire has expressed his thanks to a “great city and great club” as he departs Carlisle United.<\/p>\n
The Sheffield Wednesday midfielder has expressed his gratitude for his time at Brunton Park.<\/p>\n
Fusire, 19, made 14 appearances for the Cumbrians in the second half of the season.<\/p>\n
In a social media post he spoke of his regret that United lost their fight for EFL survival, but he said he appreciated his time with the Blues.<\/p>\n
“Great people, great city and a great club,” Fusire wrote on Instagram.<\/p>\n
“Hurts not to have reached our goal but I’m so grateful for my time here.<\/p>\n
“GOD is so good. Thank you for all the support and all the best for the future @officialcufc.”<\/p>\n

Fusire joined United<\/a> as one of 11 signings in the January transfer window.<\/p>\n After coming through the ranks at Hillsborough, he was given his league debut at Carlisle.<\/p>\n He went on to make eight starts and six substitute appearances, Fusire becoming a regular pick under Mark Hughes during the closing weeks of the season.<\/p>\n Fusire was one of four loan players on United’s books in the second half of the campaign, along with Joe Hugill, Charlie McArthur and Joe Bevan.<\/p>\n
