A woman has been taken to hospital following an incident close to a railway line in Co Armagh<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Police received a request for assistance from the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service<\/a> in the William Street area of Lurgan<\/a> on Thursday afternoon, March 5.<\/p>\n

PSNI officers attended and one woman was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries.<\/p>\n

The railway line was closed in both directions for a time to facilitate emergency services, leading to travel disruption for commuters.<\/p>\n

A Translink<\/a> spokesperson said at the time: \u201cDue to an operating incident between #Lurgan and #Portadown the line is closed. Disruption is expected to services running through these stations until further notice.\u201d<\/p>\n

The railway line has since reopened.<\/p>\n
