Ex-Prince Andrew\u2019s daughters, Princesse Eugenie and Princess Beatrice, are said to be \u201chorrified\u201d by their father\u2019s public scandal <\/a>and arrest. <\/p>\n

\u201cEugenie and Beatrice have had to change their upcoming public-facing plans and future plans this year,\u201d a source told Us Weekly<\/a> on Thursday, noting that the sisters \u2014 who are not working royals \u2014 \u201caren\u2019t as worried about Andrew being arrested and going to jail, but they are still horrified that he\u2019s involved in this and worry there could be more to come.\u201d<\/p>\n

The daughters of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, witnessed the stripping of their father\u2019s titles \u2014 including Prince and Duke of York in October 2025 \u2014 as well as his 66th birthday arrest<\/a> on Feb. 19 following the release of documents relating to the late Jeffrey Epstein.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s been accused of alleged misconduct in public office. <\/p>\n

According to an Us Weekly source, the sisters \u201caren\u2019t as worried about Andrew being arrested and going to jail, but they are still horrified that he\u2019s involved in this and worry there could be more to come.\u201d He\u2019s seen here at Windsor Castle in April 2025. The ex-Prince was also ordered to vacate his longtime home at Royal Lodge, which he did last month<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The fallout has been \u201cdevastating\u201d for his daughter, the source told the outlet, adding that \u201cin London it\u2019s all people are talking about.\u201d <\/p>\n

A second insider told the outlet that Beatrice and Eugenie \u2014 who was seen out with husband Jack Brooksbank<\/a> on Feb. 24 \u2014 will scale back on public appearances \u201cin the near future.\u201d<\/p>\n

The sisters \u201care not actually planning on doing any public events in the near future because of everything surrounding their parents because they know that will be the focus,\u201d the second source explained to the outlet. <\/p>\n

The source also claimed that Eugenie and Beatrice weren\u2019t \u201cbanned\u201d from the Royal Ascot <\/a>this year due to the drama surrounding their father. <\/p>\n

\u201cThey were not going to be there anyway,\u201d the insider claimed. \u201cThey were not planning on attending.\u201d <\/p>\n

The Daily Mail reported earlier this week that the pair was\u00a0\u201cblindsided\u201d by a decision not to allow them to attend the traditional event over their parents\u2019 alleged ties to the late convicted sex offender. <\/p>\n

But Us Weekly\u2019s second source claimed that the sisters have not been \u201cdistanced\u201d from the royal family, including Prince William and Kate Middleton, who allegedly remain \u201cclose with them.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThey have been through enough,\u201d the source said. \u201cThey are not being blamed. There is a lot of compassion. They are not pariahs. They are cared for and loved under the circumstances which are incredibly painful.\u201d<\/p>\n

They added that \u201cthe only feelings that have changed are toward Andrew and Fergie. They don\u2019t hold Beatrice and Eugenie accountable. They are victims. \u2026 They have had strong royal connections and are still getting support from them.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to a source for Page Six, amid the drama, their mother has stayed with pals<\/a> including Priscilla Presley \u2014 while noting that under the circumstances, it may be best for Ferguson to publicly keep her distance.<\/p>\n

\u201cNow that Andrew has lost his royal title, the girls are the only members of the family who are real royals,\u201d an insider told us on Wednesday. \u201cIt\u2019s more important than ever for them to be kept as far away from the scandal as possible.\u201d<\/p>\n
