\"SparkbrookSparkbrook Islamic Centre (UKIM Sparkbrook Islamic Centre and Masjid) helped crews from the council’s mobile waste unit this week.<\/p>\n

The latest dates and locations for the council’s mobile refuse service for residents have been announced.<\/p>\n

The Mobile Household Waste Centres (MHWCs), which park at a different ward in the city each day allowing residents to dispose of their rubbish, will resume on Wednesday morning, May 8, following a suspension.<\/p>\n

Locals can bring their black bin bags to the trucks without the need to show ID.<\/p>\n

The dates and locations for MHWCs until Sunday, May 11 are<\/p>\n

Wednesday 7th May, 7.45am to 12.45pm<\/strong><\/p>\n

The service was paused for more than a week to allow crews to concentrate on clearing bin bags and fly-tipping from city streets.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, a fraction of waste wagons<\/a> were being deployed from three council depots citywide on Tuesday, with residents advised to leave their household waste bin (grey lid) out on their scheduled day.<\/p>\n

The council said today it had a ‘contingency plan’ and hoped to have collections back on track by the end of this week.<\/p>\n
