Photo Matt Murphy<\/p>\n<p>The show also stars <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.westendtheatre.com\/240509\/star-watch\/alex-sawyer\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Alex Sawyer<\/a><\/strong> as Alexander Hamilton, and <strong>Bente Mulan<\/strong> as Eliza Hamilton. Aaron Burr is currently played by <strong>Jay Perry<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Directed by Thomas Kail, Hamilton will celebrate its 9th birthday in the West End in December 2026. Last year the show celebrated its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westendtheatre.com\/306241\/news\/hamilton-celebrates-its-10th-anniversary-today-hamilton-movie-to-be-released-in-cinemas\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">10th anniversary on Broadway<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cReturning to Hamilton and revisiting the role of Aaron Burr with the growth and perspective of time has been a profoundly healing artistic experience. At certain performances, the role of Alexander Hamilton will be played by <strong>Adam J.
