reports suggest Wrexham want Cardiff City’s Callum Robinson.

Ryan Hardie is back on Wrexham’s radar after January interest, with Parkinson potentially looking back at recent targets.

One man who would fit that bill is Leeds United’s Joe Gelhardt.

Wrexham looked at Gelhardt in the January window, but he ended up signing for Hull City on loan.

Gelhardt hit five goals in 20 games for Hull, helping the Tigers narrowly avoid relegation from the Championship.

<a now claim Leeds will ‘listen to offers’ for Gelhardt, as well as returning playmaker Sam Greenwood after his loan spell at Preston North End.

Gelhardt will have two years left on his Leeds contract this summer, and this may be the right time for him to go.

Leeds have just won promotion to the Premier League, and if Gelhardt wasn’t receiving playing time before, he almost certainly won’t know.

Gelhardt will surely leave Leeds permanently this summer, and Wrexham would be wise to take another look at him for a potential summer move.

Wrexham youth coach aided Joe Gelhardt rise

Gelhardt showed so much potential at Wigan Athletic and then dazzled in his early Premier League days with Leeds.

The last few seasons have been difficult for Gelhardt and the time has surely come for a permanent exit.

Wrexham may well target Gelhardt once again as Parkinson weighs up attacking additions, with Paul Mullin and Ollie Palmer surely on the way out.

Gelhardt will appeal, and if Parkinson wants another opinion on the Leeds man, he could turn to Nick Chadwick.

Wrexham youth coach Chadwick played a role in Gelhardt’s development at Wigan, serving as an Under-18 coach with the Latics for four years.

Gelhardt rose from talented youngster to first-team player before heading off to Leeds in a £1million deal, as noted by <a Today.

Chadwick knows so much about Gelhardt’s talent, and he would surely give a real thumbs up to any potential Wrexham move this
