The retracted articles were mostly published in journals run by Elsevier and the Royal Society of Chemistry.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-content\">The retractions earn <a href=\"https:\/\/scholar.google.com\/citations?user=REjDFWYAAAAJ&amp;hl=en\" shape=\"rect\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Hitler Louis<\/a> a place on a <a href=\"https:\/\/retractionwatch.com\/the-retraction-watch-leaderboard\/\" shape=\"rect\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">leaderboard of scientists<\/a> with the most retractions to their names. It was created by the research integrity blog Retraction Watch, which <a href=\"https:\/\/retractionwatch.com\/2026\/02\/24\/chemist-hitler-louis-nigeria-retractions-image-duplication-self-citation\/\" shape=\"rect\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">was first to report on the case<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-content\">Louis didn\u2019t reply to a request for comment.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-content\">According to Retraction Watch, Louis\u2019s LinkedIn profile until recently listed him as a student due to complete a doctoral degree in computational chemistry at the University of Leeds in 2027.
