Crufts is well underway, with the results for Day 3 starting to be announced.<\/p>\n

The Scruffts competition at the biggest dog show in the world gives us a chance to see non pedigree dogs take centre stage.<\/p>\n

Unlike the pedigree contests, the focus is on personality, health and the bond between dog and owner rather than strict breed standards.<\/p>\n

Dogs from across the UK have qualified by making it through regional heats and have now gone head to head at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Finalists compete in four classes \u2014 Most Handsome Dog, Prettiest Bitch, Golden Oldie (aged eight and over) and Good Citizen Scheme.<\/p>\n

Then the overall Scruffts Champion is decided from the winners of those categories.<\/p>\n

Below we bring you the results for 2026:<\/p>\n

Scruffts Champion<\/p>\n

The overall champion was Golden Oldie Marnie, who is nine years old.<\/p>\n

She had a hard start to life and was rescued from a kill shelter in Romania.<\/p>\n

Marnie had been a finalist for two years in a row – but has now claimed the crown!<\/p>\n

Most handsome dog<\/strong> – Chip and Carrie Harris<\/p>\n

Prettiest bitch<\/strong> – Betty and Ollie Irwin<\/p>\n

Golden oldie<\/strong> – Marnie and Lyn Freeman<\/p>\n
