A dad-of-four from Kings Heath<\/a> lost his life after fracturing his skull on a friend\u2019s stag-do. Alex Jones, 34, was in Liverpool when the incident happened on March 28. His injury resulted in three bleeds on the brain.<\/p>\n

He died on April 10 after being in a coma and he left behind his girlfriend, Paige, and four children, Daisy, Riley, Taylor, and Skye, who are aged from one to 14.<\/p>\n

Beth Horridge, his sister, has shared a GoFundMe page for his devastated family, with more than \u00a317,000 raised so far.<\/p>\n

In an interview with Liverpool ECHO<\/a>, she said: \u201cThe fundraiser is amazing\u2026 the amount of people and money we have raised has been out of the world and we most definitely didn\u2019t expect such a high number.\u201d<\/p>\n

Remembering her brother, she added: \u201cAlex was the joker of the family forever playing jokes, making us all laugh. He loved life and he really did light up any room he walked into, he was the best dad to his four children and the best partner to Paige and his four children.<\/p>\n

\u201cAlex was the main breadwinner in the relationship with his own business.<\/p>\n

“We set up the fundraiser to help Paige and the children to adapt to life without Alex and his income also to help the family give him the best send off as Alex was so young and a funeral is something we have never discussed.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs a family it has left a huge hole in all of our hearts and the world will never be the same without him. I can\u2019t even begin to share the hurt we are all experiencing at the moment.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe most certainly was the best big brother, son, dad, partner, just an amazing man. I know people say it – but he really did not deserve this.\u201d<\/p>\n

Giving further insight on the fundraising page, she added: \u201cAlex was a vibrant, kind-hearted person who lit up the lives of everyone around him.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs a devoted partner and father, he was always there for his family\u2014whether it was playing with Daisy, Riley, Taylor, and Skye, supporting Paige, or being the rock they could all lean on.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe was also a cherished friend, known for his wild personality and love for a pint of beer, often bringing laughter and energy to every gathering he attended. His loss has left a void that words cannot describe.\u201d<\/p>\n
