Alisson<\/a> will not play for Liverpool<\/a> against Galatasaray in the Champions League<\/a> on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

The Reds\u2019 first-choice goalkeeper complained of some discomfort following his side\u2019s open training session on Monday.<\/p>\n

The Brazilian has not travelled with his team-mates to Istanbul, and second-choice Giorgi Mamardashvili will deputise for the No1.<\/p>\n

The issue is believed to be a minor one, although Arne Slot will be sweating over his shot-stopper\u2019s fitness for the visit of Tottenham this weekend.<\/p>\n

Alisson has already suffered an injury this term, going off hurt against Gala earlier in the season<\/a>.<\/p>\n

He was sidelined for seven weeks after the 1-0<\/a> defeat at RAMS Park.<\/p>\n

The Reds are also without Federico Chiesa, who did not train with the squad before their departure for Turkey on Monday afternoon.<\/p>\n

The Premier League champions take on the Super Lig side on Tuesday <\/a>before facing Spurs on Sunday.<\/p>\n

Their last 16 second leg against Galatasaray is the following Wednesday before a trip to Brighton and Hove Albion as Slot\u2019s men chase a top-four finish.<\/p>\n

Liverpool lost ground in the Champions League chase last week when they fell to a dramatic defeat at bottom club Wolves<\/a>, but they got their immediate revenge at Molineux<\/a> just days later in the FA Cup fifth round.<\/p>\n
