<\/p>\nThe mother of Princess Beatrice’s stepson, Wolfie, has quit a TV show after clashing with her co-stars.<\/p>\n
Dara Huang made a swift departure from the Bravo series, Ladies of London: New Reign, after just two episodes amid escalating tensions with fellow cast members.<\/p>\n
“I don’t think I’m made for this, babe. This is not me,” Ms Huang was heard telling a producer before informing her castmates of her decision.<\/p>\n
Her departure followed model Miss\u00e9 Beqiri accusing Ms Huang of being “two-faced” after she allegedly described etiquette expert Myka Meier as “cringe” and “tacky” in private conversations.<\/p>\n

Ms Huang initially denied the remarks, insisting: “Myka’s my sister,” but a hot microphone subsequently captured her confessing: “I did say those things.”<\/p>\n
The betrayal proved particularly painful given the pair’s lengthy history together, with Ms Meier saying on-screen: “We have known each other for over 24 years. I protected her, and this is what I get. I just don’t recognise my best friend.”<\/p>\n
Ms Meier operates the New York-based Beaumont Etiquette consultancy. She had previously defended Ms Huang, who shares a nine-year-old son with Beatrice’s husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, against separate rumours circulating among the cast.<\/p>\n
Speaking to Decider, Ms Meier revealed the two women are no longer on speaking terms and indicated that Princess Beatrice, 37, was probably displeased by Ms Huang’s decision to appear on the programme.<\/p>\n

“I love [Beatrice], I’ve always loved her. But I think that, you know, I’m sure they had many conversations and [Dara] still chose to do what she did,” Ms Meier reflected. “And I think now we see the result.”<\/p>\n
The second episode concluded with an on-screen announcement: “Dara decided to leave the friend group.”<\/p>\n
Ms Huang completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Florida before earning a master’s degree in architecture from Harvard.<\/p>\n

She founded her own firm, Design Haus Liberty, in 2013 and has worked on prestigious projects including the Tate Modern Museum in London and a Tribeca skyscraper in New York.<\/p>\n
Ms Huang and Mr Mapelli Mozzi met in 2015, welcoming their son the following year.<\/p>\n
However, their relationship ended in 2018, shortly before reports emerged of Mr Mapelli Mozzi’s romance with Princess Beatrice.<\/p>\n
The pair maintain an amicable co-parenting arrangement, with Ms Huang previously telling Harper’s Bazaar: “Wolfie has had two sets of parents trying to help him on both sides, and I just think, ‘The more, the merrier.'”<\/p>\n

The programme’s lineup includes Lady Emma Thynn, Britain’s first Black marchioness, alongside graphic designer turned socialite Lottie Kane.<\/p>\n

Ms Huang’s brief stint on the series was not her first venture into television.<\/p>\n
The architect previously served as a head judge on Channel 4’s 2023 programme The Big Interiors Battle, where she worked alongside presenter AJ Odudu, evaluating contestants competing for a mortgage-free apartment.
