Prince Harry has been observed as \u201cpsychologically stuck\u201d by a psychiatrist after his bombshell interview last week. <\/p>\n

The Duke of Sussex spoke out after suffering a bruising legal defeat at the UK Court of Appeals regarding his security detail. <\/p>\n

Psychiatrist Dr Raj Persaud watched the footage and came to troubling conclusions about Harry\u2019s mental wellbeing.<\/p>\n

In the interview, the Duke claimed his father, King Charles, “won’t speak to me because of this security stuff” and that he did \u201cnot know how much longer my father has” – in reference to Charles\u2019 ongoing cancer treatment. <\/p>\n

“This was quite possibly a bid to garner attention on the public stage in a manner they simply cannot ignore, quite possibly a form of emotional blackmail,” Dr Persaud told The Express. <\/p>\n

He observed that Harry may be \u201cpsychologically stuck\u201d in the moral paradigm he had built around himself and his legal quest. <\/p>\n

Dr Persauddeduced that the royal had become so \u201cconvinced of the logic and morality of his position that he couldn\u2019t seem to grasp that, even if he is right, he is still not getting what he wants”.<\/p>\n

The medic claimed that \u201cthrowing fresh grenades\u201d after the legal blow was a \u201chasty, ill-though-out tactic\u201d from Harry and would do little to mend his rift with the palace. <\/p>\n

During the interview, Prince Harry admitted he was seeking to rebuild his relationship with the Royal Family. <\/p>\n

“I would love reconciliation with my family there’s no point in continuing to fight anymore, as I said life is precious,” the 40-year-old said.<\/p>\n

Prince Harry also revealed he had “forgiven” his family members. <\/p>\n

Regarding advice for the Duke going forward, Dr Persaud suggested the Harry appeared be \u201cin difficulty\u201d and added he \u201cneeds help to move on and really start a process of rapprochement with his family\u201d. <\/p>\n

However, the psychiatrist feared this would not happen through the current \u201cprism of another angry media interview showing his apparently trapped mindset\u201d.<\/p>\n

In a similar vein, psychotherapist and relationship coach Lucy Beresford suggested an \u201celement of him not wanting to be forgotten\u201d in Harry\u2019s words. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s more about trying to remind people he still exists. It’s like he is saying ‘don’t forget me,\u2019\u201d she told The Mirror. <\/p>\n

The expert also claimed that Harry\u2019s preoccupation with his family\u2019s security arrangements was a symptom of his \u201cinner child\u201d taking over his adult brain. <\/p>\n
