Hit West End show Stranger Things: The First Shadow<\/strong><\/a> at the Phoenix Theatre<\/strong> is extending its London run.<\/p>\n

Based on the Netflix series, Stranger Things: The First Shadow is now booking in the West End until 2 August 2026, adding more dates for June and July.<\/p>\n

The show is now in its third year in London, and recently welcomed a new cast including Jack Christou<\/a><\/strong> (Matilda The Musical) as Henry Creel, and Stewart Clarke<\/a><\/strong> (Les Mis\u00e9rables) as Dr Brenner.<\/p>\n

They are joined by Avril Maponga<\/strong> (Witness for the Prosecution) as Patty Newby, Max Potter<\/strong> (A Monster Calls) as Bob Newby, Adam Wadsworth<\/strong> (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child) as James Hopper Jr. and Edie Wright<\/strong> (Stranger Things: The First Shadow) as Joyce Maldonado, Maximilian Graham<\/strong> as Alan Munson, Anastasia Koloko<\/strong> as Sue Anderson, Joshua McElroy<\/strong> as Lonnie Byers, Grace Alice Murray<\/strong> as Claudia Yount, Tom O\u2019Brien<\/strong> as Ted Wheeler, Freya Taylor-Lester<\/strong> as Karen Childress, Andrew Whipp<\/strong> as Chief Hopper, Ammar Duffus<\/strong> as Charles Sinclair, Jack Gardner<\/strong> as Walter Henderson, Andy Langtree<\/strong> as Victor Creel, Lauren O\u2019Neil<\/strong> as Virginia Creel and Rufus Wright<\/strong> as Principal Newby.<\/p>\n

Stranger Things: The First Shadow is directed by Stephen Daldry and co-directed by Justin Martin. The show is written by Kate Trefry (Netflix\u2019s Stranger Things), and has an original story by Stranger Things creators the Duffer Brothers, award-winning writer Jack Thorne (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child), and Kate Trefry.<\/p>\n

The London production won an Olivier Award for Best Entertainment at the 2024 Olivier Awards<\/a>, and also scored three Tony Awards on Broadway<\/a>.<\/p>\n

London\u2019s theatre critics loved the show when it first opened, giving Stranger Things fantastic four or five star reviews<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Stranger Things live stage show is also playing on Broadway at the Marquis Theatre<\/strong> in New York, and last month was filmed for a forthcoming Netflix release.<\/p>\n
