\n\t\u201cShaun the Sheep: The Beast of Mossy Bottom\u201d is now in the works at the animation powerhouse, having taken over the studio space recently vacated by last year\u2019s \u201cWallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl.\u201d StudioCanal<\/a> has again come on board as partners and will be launching worldwide sales in Cannes<\/a>, while Sky is confirmed as. U.K. distributor. <\/p>\n

\n\tFollowing on from \u201cShaun the Sheep Movie\u201d and \u201cShaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon,\u201d the new adventure sees the residents of Mossy Bottom Farm looking forward to Halloween \u2013 until the clumsy Farmer trashes the Flock\u2019s beloved pumpkin patch. When Shaun turns mad scientist to fix the problem, things rapidly spiral out of control, leading to a wild beast roaming the woods.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cShaun the Sheep is an iconic character, beloved by viewers of all ages around the world,\u201d said Sarah Cox, chief creative director at Aardman. \u201cIn our new animated movie, we bring family-friendly thrills to this light-hearted, spooky Halloween adventure. Expect smashed pumpkins, wayward science, and a wild hairy beast on the loose in Mossy Bottom \u2013 all delivered with the Flock\u2019s trademark joyous comedy.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cShaun the Sheep: The Beast of Mossy Bottom\u201d is written by Mark Burton (\u201cWallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl,\u201d \u201cPaddington in Peru,\u201d \u201cShaun the Sheep Movie\u201d) and Giles Pilbrow (\u201cHorrible Histories,\u201d \u201cShaun the Sheep: The Flight Before Christmas\u201d) and will be directed by Steve Cox (\u201cShaun the Sheep: The Flight Before Christmas\u201d) and Matthew Walker (\u201cLloyd of the Flies\u201d), with Richard Beek (\u201cWallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl\u201d) as producer, and Nick Park, Peter Lord, Carla Shelley and Cox as studio executive producers.<\/p>\n

\n\tShaun the Sheep is one of Aardman\u2019s best-performing properties, broadcast in 170 territories worldwide, and has its seventh series airing later this year. The first Shaun the Sheep feature film landed both BAFTA and Oscar nominations and was one of the highest-grossing animated films of 2015. The second was also BAFTA and Oscar nominated, while in 2021 Aardman released a half-hour special, the International Emmy-winning \u201cShaun the Sheep: The Flight Before Christmas.\u201d<\/p>\n
