Chef Mike Bagnall (co-owner of Elm, currently in residence at <a href=\"https:\/\/londontheinside.com\/map\/peckham\/\" type=\"link\" id=\"https:\/\/londontheinside.com\/map\/peckham\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Peckham<\/a> pub The Montpelier) and ex-Bambi GM Dylan Walters are moving into the <a href=\"https:\/\/londontheinside.com\/map\/hackney\/\" type=\"link\" id=\"https:\/\/londontheinside.com\/map\/hackney\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">London Fields<\/a> site with Auguste. Named after the clown in the Edward Hopper painting Soir Bleu, the restaurant is inspired by the food of Abruzzo, the central <a href=\"https:\/\/londontheinside.com\/map\/italian-restaurants\/\" type=\"link\" id=\"https:\/\/londontheinside.com\/map\/italian-restaurants\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Italian<\/a> region known for sheep farming where Mike has spent time living.<\/p>\n<p>Arrosticini, flame-grilled skewers common in the region, will be at the heart of the menu, with varieties including lamb, cull yaw, wagyu, liver and wild boar. They\u2019ll be served alongside dishes like:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>carciofi alla Romana<\/li>\n<li>La Latteria stracciatella with ib\u00e9rico tomato<\/li>\n<li>crushed smoked potato with Hikari miso<\/li>\n<li>Lyonnais and cr\u00e8me fra\u00eeche capoletti in lamb brodo<\/li>\n<li>whole grilled fish from the market<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The drinks offering will be heavily Italian-leaning, with \u00a35 Camparinos (Campari, soda and lemon oil) and Negronis alongside <a href=\"https:\/\/sausagepress.uk\/products\/londons-best-martinis-zine\" type=\"link\" id=\"https:\/\/sausagepress.uk\/products\/londons-best-martinis-zine\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Martinis<\/a> on the cocktail menu, plus digestifs, amari and homemade limoncello to finish.
