Princess Beatrice<\/a> and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi<\/a> are keeping their heads down, continuing with family life and work life. Edoardo has taken several overseas work trips<\/a> since the start of the year, with his business, Banda Property. The couple split their time<\/a> between St James’s Palace in London and their Cotswolds farmhouse, but unearthed comments from Edoardo has hinted why he prefers life in the countryside\u2026<\/p>\n

\u00a0In 2020, Edoardo gave The Telegraph<\/a> an exclusive interview, and while it centred around his business projects in the UK capital, he did add his own opinion on city life, too. On the topic of a development in Bayswater, which Edoardo and his team expertly designed, he said: “There are multiple built-in wardrobes within each apartment, which most new-build properties lack.” He also made a point to say that his projects are always 20 units or for a mini community feel, adding: “As you don’t get a sense of community otherwise, and that’s something that’s really missing in London”.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Edoardo and Beatrice made the decision to escape the city in 2021, acquiring a \u00a33.5 million converted farmhouse in the Cotswolds.\u00a0<\/strong>It is reported to boast six bedrooms, multiple reception rooms and a guest house, and they added a tennis court and swimming pool upon arrival. The private haven for their family has been kept under wraps and neither of them share photos from inside.<\/p>\n

The couple live with their two daughters, Sienna and Athena, and Edoardo’s son Wolfie splits his time between living with them and his mother Dara Huang. They still retain their London base inside St James’s Palace, though, Edoardo revealed in a rare interview with The Times<\/a> in 2024. He spoke about walking Sienna to school from his London apartment at St James’s Palace.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u00a0The interior design and property mogul shares Christopher ‘Wolfie’ Woolf with his ex-fianc\u00e9e, Dara. The pair were previously engaged before parting ways in 2018, two years after welcoming their son.<\/p>\n

The separated couple are on good terms and co-parent with ease. Dara previously told\u00a0Harper’s Bazaar:\u00a0“Wolfie has had two sets of parents trying to help him on both sides, and I just think, ‘The more, the merrier.'”<\/p>\n

\u00a0In a chat with HELLO! during the 2020 lockdown, Beatrice spoke affectionately about her stepson, revealing she actually refers to him as a “bonus son”.\u00a0<\/strong>She said: “Homeschooling, that was definitely not my forte! Not going to lie. Sadly, I can’t blame that on dyslexia.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“But I’ve felt very lucky to have had the chance to work with my bonus son over the course of the school closures. It was a huge learning curve for all of us.”<\/p>\n
