Meanwhile, Performance 360, a new fitness center, is gearing up to open <a href=\"https:\/\/www.arlnow.com\/2024\/11\/21\/hunan-gate-in-ballston-is-closing-slated-to-be-replaced-with-gym\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">where Hunan Gate closed<\/a> in December.<\/p>\n<p>Onelife wants a spot on the mall\u2019s second floor<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The gym on the mall\u2019s third floor is seeking to make use of an empty retail bay on the floor below, according to a permit application filed earlier this month.<\/li>\n<li>The application mentions a new set of stairs, new flooring, paint, mirrors and utility work.<\/li>\n<li>Onelife declined to comment on specifics but told ARLnow that \u201cwe\u2019re always exploring ways to enhance our clubs and deliver the best possible experience for our members.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A new gym plans April 21 opening<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Elsewhere in Ballston, the new fitness studio <a href=\"https:\/\/perform-360.com\/arlington\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Performance 360<\/a> hopes to debut at 4233 Fairfax Drive.<\/li>\n<li>The new location will be the first East Coast studio for the West Coast-based gym franchise, which offers group strength training classes.<\/li>\n<li>Customers can join Performance 360\u2019s waitlist for \u201cVIP\u201d founding memberships, which are nearly sold out.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>                                                                                                                                    &#13;<\/p>\n<ul class=\"pp-multiple-authors-boxes-ul author-ul-0\">&#13;<br \/>\n                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            &#13;<\/p>\n<li class=\"pp-multiple-authors-boxes-li author_index_0 author_katietaranto has-avatar\">&#13;\n<p>                                                                                                                                                                                                                <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/katie-t.jpg\"  class=\"multiple_authors_guest_author_avatar avatar\" height=\"80\" width=\"80\"\/><br \/>\n                                                                                                                                    &#13;<br \/>\n                                                            &#13;<\/p>\n<p class=\"pp-author-boxes-description multiple-authors-description author-description-0\">&#13;<br \/>\n                                                                            Katie Taranto is a reporter at Local News Now, primarily covering business, public safety and the city of Falls Church.
