DG DEFIS and the EU SST Partnership informed some 140 participants from the EU SSA commercial sector on <strong>upcoming calls on operational and research activities<\/strong> in the next two years. Participants also learned about an <strong>upcoming Luxembourg-sponsored call<\/strong> on the development of advanced commercial SSA services relying on AI technologies, a <strong>Position Paper on SSA<\/strong> by the European space industry association ASD-Eurospace, and the results of a <strong>consultation<\/strong> on a <strong>future SSA marketplace<\/strong>. The meeting concluded with an <strong>exchange of views<\/strong> on Starlink\u2019s plans for SSA services.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Background\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The EISF gathers <strong>more than 150 members from more than 70 EU companies<\/strong> including <strong>start-ups, SMEs, midcaps and major actors<\/strong>. Several Research and Technology Organisations (RTO) established in the EU also participate in the EISF.
