The Finalissima <\/strong>has been at the center of the global soccer stage for days, ever since the conflicts in the Middle East seriously called into question the viability of hosting the match in Qatar, as was originally planned. In this context, Spain <\/strong>and Argentina<\/a><\/strong> have different ideas regarding the new venue to be selected.<\/p>\n

Details have recently emerged about the idea that UEFA <\/strong>and Spain proposed during meetings aimed at reaching a solution. Santiago Bernabeu Stadium<\/strong>, home of Real Madrid<\/strong>, is the venue preferred by the Europeans, but Argentina and CONMEBOL reportedly rejected that option<\/a><\/strong> because it would not be a neutral venue.<\/p>\n

The Monumental is the stadium of River Plate<\/strong>, one of Argentina\u2019s most important clubs. Located in Buenos Aires<\/strong>, it is usually the home of the national team\u2014most of their World Cup qualifier<\/strong> matches were played there\u2014and it has a capacity of 85,000 spectators.<\/p>\n
