Leeds City Mission in Armley will be stocking The Real Easter Egg this year, offering local residents a chance to enjoy a Fairtrade chocolate treat that also shares the true story of Easter.<\/p>\n<p>A total of 75 Real Easter Eggs will be available, priced at \u00a34.50 each, while stocks last. The eggs are produced by The Meaningful Chocolate Company and include a small booklet explaining the Christian story of Easter alongside the delicious chocolate.<\/p>\n<p>Leeds City Mission hopes the eggs will provide an affordable way for families to celebrate Easter while also reflecting on the meaning behind the season.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>This year the eggs also include a free 24-page Easter story-activity book, illustrated by award-winning artist Martina Peluso. <\/p>\n<p>The books feature the story of the first Easter \u2013 covering the final week of the life of Jesus and the events of Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter Sunday \u2013 plus a prize competition worth \u00a3200.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re pleased to be able to offer The Real Easter Egg in Armley this year,\u201d said Sinclair Martin from Leeds City Mission. \u201cIt\u2019s a great way to combine a traditional Easter treat with the message of hope that Easter brings.\u201d<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>For more information about Leeds City Mission and its work in the community, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.leedscitymission.org\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">visit the website.<\/a> Leeds City Mission is on Mistress Lane, (opposite Armley Library, next to Westerly Rise flats) Open: Monday\u2013Friday, 10am\u20133pm.
