Belgrave second best.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Belgrave<\/strong> &#8211; first in, and he looks to have come on plenty for his Newmarket run, very fit and well   <\/p>\n<p><strong>The Flying Seagull<\/strong> &#8211; next, he&#8217;s fine but others make more appeal on looks<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bob Mali<\/strong> &#8211; red hood but fine and looks tuned to the minute here, bang fit and coat in excellent condition <\/p>\n<p><strong>Cyclonite<\/strong> &#8211; in next, perfectly fit and well but not really striding out as you&#8217;d like at the moment <\/p>\n<p><strong>Megaphone<\/strong> &#8211; fit and fine but others preferred overall <\/p>\n<p><strong>Cressida Wildes<\/strong> &#8211; perhaps lacks class of a few but she&#8217;s walking around with a purpose to her and looks very well in herself <\/p>\n<p><strong>Diligently<\/strong> &#8211; okay but unlike the earlier Clive Cox runner he will definitely come on for this <\/p>\n<p><strong>Force And Valour<\/strong> &#8211; another that looks very fit here, he&#8217;s a bit quiet at the moment but that&#8217;s a minor niggle.   <\/p>\n<p><strong>Cabelleroso<\/strong> &#8211; good coat but needs the run after short break<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hammer The Hammer<\/strong> &#8211; clearly very fit, he had a little moment coming out of the pre-parade and is a little keen, but no concerns at present<\/p>\n<p><strong>End Of Story<\/strong> &#8211; another that&#8217;s ready for today, throwing head about but nicely keen   <\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportinglife.com\/racing\/racecards\/2025-05-07\/chester\/racecard\/856257\/boodles-chester-vase-stakes-group-3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">15.05 Boodles Chester Vase Stakes<\/a><\/strong><strong>Winning connections reaction:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ryan Moore &#8211; <\/strong>\u201cHe came forward today and was suited by the mile-and-a-half. It was her first run of the year and he only had the two runs late on last year. She was drawn wide, showed good speed to get a position and relaxed.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;She did everything nice and smoothly, was a bit green at first and I probably got there a bit too early but she showed a very good attitude in the straight. Minnie Hauk will definitely come on plenty for this today. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>That&#8217;s Amore &#8211; <\/strong>OK, touch warm, others make more appeal<\/p>\n<p><strong>Caspi Star<\/strong> &#8211;  A good type and plodding around like an old hand, fit   <\/p>\n<p><strong>Modern Utopia<\/strong> &#8211; Very fit and always presents well, no issues<\/p>\n<p><strong>Minnie Hauk<\/strong> &#8211;  In next and there&#8217;s no doubt she&#8217;s going to tighten up plenty for this. By no means fully fit here. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Queen Of Thieves<\/strong> &#8211; Pretty compact type, she&#8217;s fine but that lack of size telling against a few of these   <\/p>\n<p><strong>Secret Of Love<\/strong> &#8211; She&#8217;s very fit for her reappearance. Rangy sort, red hood but well behaved. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Kate O&#8217;Riley<\/strong> &#8211; First in, good sized filly, looks a stayer, red hood and two handlers but good as gold, fit. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Winning trainer reaction:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Clive Cox<\/strong>: &#8220;He has so much speed. He got a length out of them at the stalls even though he was on the inside. We&#8217;re excited about him and he&#8217;s the sort of horse who hopefully will continue to progress. Needs to settle.<\/p>\n<p><strong>MISSION COMMAND<\/strong> &#8211; Good sort and is pretty straight for his reappearance, looks well and good coat to boot.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pre-parade updates<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>AL HUSSAR &#8211;<\/strong> first in and whilst not unfit, will clearly benefit from the run.<\/p>\n<p><strong>FUJI MOUNTAIN &#8211; <\/strong> looks okay, will still tighten up again for this.<\/p>\n<p><strong>REDORANGE <\/strong>&#8211; spot on here. Looks tuned to the minute for this, very fit and has clearly come on from Sandown run.<\/p>\n<p><strong>BLINKY<\/strong> &#8211; fit and well, coat maybe not so good as a couple, but that&#8217;s nitpicking. He&#8217;s fine<\/p>\n<p><strong>CONVO<\/strong> &#8211; he&#8217;s next in and looks in need of the run, Plenty to work on fitness-wise.<\/p>\n<p><strong>GOLD STAR HERO &#8211;<\/strong> looks really well for his reappearance run. Proper sprint 2yo, maybe lacks the scope of a few of these but this test looks ideal.<\/p>\n<p><strong>TAMATHER <\/strong>&#8211;  Red hood on, is a little tense. Good size, well-muscled hind quarters already, likeable<\/p>\n<p><strong>ARDISIA <\/strong>&#8211; still displaying the odd bit of greenness, has stopped for a look round and a bit of a growl a couple of times.<\/p>\n<p>All behaving fine so far though. Awaiting others to appear&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><strong>ARDUIS INVICTA<\/strong> &#8211; More compact type, she&#8217;s more for now than a few of these. Looks well.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ITALICA <\/strong>&#8211;  Has a bit more size to him than the other pair seen so far and looks more a longer-term project. Nice sort, will keep progressing<\/p>\n<p><strong>MISS PIGGLE<\/strong> &#8211; Has come on a touch for Southwell win. Not as muscly as Ardisia but she&#8217;s nice enough.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ARDISIA <\/strong>&#8211; First in. Red hood but perfectly settled.
