Between the third and the fourth quarter of 2025, 3.1 million unemployed <\/a>people aged 15-74 in the EU<\/a> found a job (22.9% of all unemployed in the third quarter of 2025). During this period, 6.9 million (51.9%) remained unemployed and 3.4 million unemployed people (25.2%) transitioned out of the labour force<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Of all those in employment<\/a> in the third quarter of 2025, 2.5 million (1.2%) became unemployed in the fourth quarter of 2025, and 4.8 million (2.3%) transitioned out of the labour force.<\/p>\n
