Two men have been taken to hospital after being attacked in Bristol.<\/p>\n

Emergency services were called to Southville, near St Paul’s Church, after a man had reportedly been injured during an assault on Tuesday, May 6.<\/p>\n

Avon and Somerset Police were called at around 10.24pm by the South Western Ambulance Service.<\/p>\n

A second man, also believed to have been injured in the assault, was found nearby a short while later.<\/p>\n

Both men were taken to hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.<\/p>\n

A cordon is in place at the scene in Commercial Road and St Paul’s Church this afternoon (May 7).<\/p>\n

Avon and Somerset Police said officers have been carrying out house-to-house, searches and forensic enquiries at the scene.<\/p>\n

Anyone who saw what happened is asked to get in contact with the force.<\/p>\n

A police spokesperson said: \u201cWe were called by the ambulance service at 10.24pm yesterday (6 May) reporting a man had been injured after an assault in the Southville area of Bristol.<\/p>\n

\u201cA short while later a second man, who was believed to have also been injured in the incident, was located nearby.<\/p>\n

\u201cBoth victims were taken to hospital for treatment of injuries that are neither believed to be life-threatening nor life changing.<\/p>\n

\u201cOfficers have been conducting CCTV, house-to-house, searches and forensic enquiries today (7 May) and a scene is in place at St Paul’s Church in Coronation Road as part of this work.<\/p>\n
