Labrinth<\/a> has declared that he is \u201cdone\u201d with the music industry while hitting out at his record label and hit TV show Euphoria<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The singer-songwriter, rapper and producer took to Instagram today (Friday March 13) to share a screenshot of his notes app, where he vented his frustration.<\/p>\n

It came after the London artist released his fourth and latest studio album, \u2018Cosmic Opera: Act I\u2019, in January via Columbia Records.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019M DONE WITH THIS INDUSTRY,\u201d wrote Labrinth (real name Timothy Lee McKenzie) in the post. \u201cFUCK COLUMBIA. DOUBLE FUCK EUPHORIA. I\u2019M OUT. THANK YOU AND GOOD NIGHT X.\u201d<\/p>\n

He did not add a caption or elaborate on the reasons behind his outburst. You can see the post here:<\/p>\n

Labrinth made his scoring debut when he served as the lead composer for Euphoria<\/a> season one on HBO<\/a>.<\/p>\n

His comments on social media today come a month before\u00a0season three premieres on April 12. Check out the official trailer here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Last summer, it was confirmed that Hans Zimmer would be co-composing the third season alongside Labrinth<\/a>. In a statement at the time, Labrinth said: \u201cAnother chapter in the\u00a0Euphoria universe! So great to join Hans, one of my heroes in film score, and bring some new magic to this new season. Love x.\u201d<\/p>\n

Zimmer commented: \u201cLabrinth\u2019s music has shaped the show\u2019s identity and I\u2019m looking forward to contributing to the ongoing story and helping shape this new season through music.\u201d<\/p>\n

Some of Labrinth\u2019s original songs, including \u2018Mount Everest\u2019 and \u2018All For Us\u2019, have also been featured in the teen drama. The latter cut contains vocals from lead actor Zendaya<\/a> (who plays Ruby \u2018Rue\u2019 Bennett).<\/p>\n

He won an Emmy in the Outstanding Original Music And Lyrics category for \u2018All For Us\u2019. The score was nominated for Outstanding Music Composition For A Series, too.<\/p>\n

Labrinth returned to score season two, with Zendaya contributing to the track \u2018I\u2019m Tired\u2019 on the soundtrack<\/a>.<\/p>\n

According to Deadline<\/a>, Labrinth attended the Balenciaga 2026 Winter show in Paris earlier this week. The event is said to have seen Euphoria creator Sam Levinson tease some footage from the series\u2019 long-awaited new season.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

At the end of last year, HBO shared the first look at the main cast, who will have time-jumped in season three<\/a>. They\u2019ll now appear as young adults, five years on from where the show left off.<\/p>\n

Labrinth also worked with Billie Eilish on the song \u2018Never Felt So Alone\u2019<\/a> from the Euphoria soundtrack.<\/p>\n

He has previously praised Levinson for giving him creative freedom. \u201cThe main approach with most of the music on the show is Sam is like, \u2018Lab, just make what the fuck you\u2019re making\u2019,\u201d Labrinth told\u00a0Variety<\/a>\u00a0in 2022.<\/p>\n

\u201cDon\u2019t let no one get in the way of what you\u2019re making, just do what you do\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n
