\n\t\u201cEuphoria<\/a>\u201d composer Labrinth<\/a> is distancing himself from the HBO<\/a> series, which premieres its highly anticipated third season on April 12. <\/p>\n

\n\tIn a cryptic Instagram post<\/a> on Thursday night, the Emmy-winning and Grammy-nominated musician wrote: \u201cI\u2019m done with this industry. Fuck Columbia. Double fuck \u2018Euphoria.\u2019 I\u2019m out. Thank you and good night x.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tLabrinth is currently signed to Columbia Records<\/a>, which released his latest album, \u201cCosmic Opera Act 1,\u201d in January. He has provided the score to Sam Levinson\u2019s hit teen drama \u2014 which kickstarted the careers of Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney and Jacob Elordi \u2014 since its first season in 2019, but for Season 3 it was announced that Hans Zimmer would also<\/a> be joining as a composer.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cAnother chapter in the \u2018Euphoria\u2019 universe!\u201d Labrinth said in a statement at the time of the announcement. \u201cSo great to join Hans, one of my heroes in film score, and bring some new magic to this new season. Love x.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tRepresentatives for Labrinth, HBO and Columbia Records did not immediately respond to Variety\u2018s request for comment or clarity on the statement.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe comments section of Labrinth\u2019s post was filled with support from his peers, with Kesha writing: \u201cTake care of your peace my love. You are loved and supported.\u201d Fellow musician Skylar Grey added, \u201cPlease don\u2019t stop making music the world needs you.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tLabrinth has become best known for his contributions to the \u201cEuphoria\u201d score and soundtrack, with songs like \u201cAll for Us,\u201d \u201cFormula,\u201d \u201cMount Everest\u201d and \u201cNever Felt So Alone\u201d \u2014 which features vocals from Billie Eilish and was nominated for a Grammy \u2014 racking up millions of streams. <\/p>\n
