Coronation Street has revealed an alarming new crisis for Alya Nazir after she went behind Adam Barlow’s back to meet up with Rich Pemberton<\/a>, her former boss from Fabian’s law firm. <\/p>\n

Viewers know that Alya is currently working with Adam at Barlow Legal Services. She previously spent six months at Fabian’s in Dublin, where she worked for Rich, but she subsequently returned to Weatherfield. <\/p>\n

In tonight’s episode of the ITV soap<\/a>, Alya was given an ultimatum following a secret meeting with Rich. During a chat with Rich in his car, Rich accused Alya of leaking confidential information, and he issued her a warning.<\/p>\n

Threatening to end her career, Rich warned Alya that he would report her to the SRA if she didn’t stop Adam from poaching one of their clients. He said that he had a report which didn’t look good for Alya, as it implicated her in a leak.<\/p>\n

He told her that a woman called Jenna Mackie was an investor who had lost \u00a31.2 million because of “that fiasco”, and warned that he would report Alya if Adam poached Jenna from Fabian’s. <\/p>\n

Later, Adam presented Alya with a beautiful antique watch, telling her that he had poached Jenna from Fabian’s because of her work. After handing her the watch and explaining that he had stolen a client, Alya asked whether he should really be doing this.<\/p>\n

She warned Adam about taking on Jenna as a client, but he said: “She left of her own free will. They didn’t offer favourable terms. I did, sorry, we did. Come on, a client like that could keep us going for years.”<\/p>\n

Alya\u2019s heart sank, but will Adam find out the truth? And will Rich follow through with his threat after Jenna was poached? If he does, it could be curtains for Alya’s fledgling legal career.<\/p>\n

Coronation Street<\/strong> airs on weeknights at 8.30pm on ITV1 and streams on <\/strong>ITVX<\/strong><\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n
