Leeds United<\/a> take on Crystal Palace this Sunday with Eagles boss Oliver Glasner worried about the physicality of Daniel Farke\u2019s side.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Nine games remain in the Premier League and Daniel Farke should be confident he can do what it takes to keep us in the division.<\/p>\n

Up next is a trip to Crystal Palace<\/a> on Sunday afternoon. Oliver Glasner<\/a> is still haunted by what unfolded in December against the Whites at Elland Road<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Oliver Glasner worried about Leeds United physicality against Crystal Palace<\/p>\n

The turnaround in December for Leeds saw us emphatically bully Palace for 90 minutes. Unsurprisingly, it\u2019s left a scar for Glasner that he\u2019s still thinking of ahead of this game.<\/p>\n

\u201cA very physical game, like at Elland Road,\u201d Glasner said to CPFC<\/a> about what he\u2019s expecting on Sunday. \u201cIt\u2019s a very physical team. I remember I was really upset because we conceded four goals from set-plays, two throw-ins, and we couldn\u2019t compete with their physicality in that game. This would be important to nominate the right players who can cope with their physicality.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

In particular, Glasner is well aware of the talents of Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Anton Stach \u2013 scorers of goals one, two and four in the reverse fixture.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere were many more short passes here, and is also quite direct,\u201d Glasner continued, comparing Farke\u2019s Borussia Monchengladbach side to this Leeds side. \u201cWith Calvert-Lewin as the target player. Great in set-plays. I think Anton Stach, the German player, has scored three or four direct free-kicks, one against us.<\/p>\n

\u201cOf course, we will face a team that could prepare the entire week and could rest. For us, it\u2019s busy again. That\u2019s what I meant before, to find the right players who can cope with the intensity and the physicality we will face.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Oliver Glasner hands Leeds United advantage by admitting Crystal Palace weakness<\/p>\n

It\u2019s fair to say that Palace probably haven\u2019t been handed a beating like that all season like they got in West Yorkshire.<\/p>\n

The task for Farke is finding a way to replicate that as much as possible on the road. Palace again playing us off the back of a Thursday night fixture<\/a> is ideal.<\/p>\n

His comments here, though, do outline what sort of game plan Leeds need to tackle this game with. We need to make this game horrible for the home side. That means being physically aggressive, and really leaning into the direct style with set pieces vital.<\/p>\n

The fact Glasner is considering altering his lineup to accommodate for Leeds\u2019 physicality is a big compliment. But, it\u2019s also a sign that we could really cause them problems.<\/p>\n
