Toms Skujins<\/b> crashed early in the day as well, whilst the final kilometer saw the fall of Lenny Mart\u00ednez <\/b>and Carlos Rodr\u00edguez <\/b>in separate instances; which can ultimately affect the outcome of the overall classification.<\/p>\n
Stage 2<\/p>\n
No DNFs, but multiple crashes during the day ensured if wasn’t a completely clean break for the peloton. Among those to go down were the likes of: Patrick Gamper, Jonas Geens, Lindsay De Vylder, Eddie Dunbar, Callum Scotson, Cees Bol, Phil Bauhaus, <\/b>and Sandy Dujardin.<\/b><\/p>\n

Stage 4Juan Ayuso<\/a><\/b> crashed whilst on the lead of the race, however Lidl-Trek has confirmed there are no fractures for the Spaniard. In total, 14 other riders abandoned the race today, including at the very least Brandon McNulty<\/a>, Pablo Castrillo<\/b> and Raul Garc\u00eda Pierna <\/b>who crashed alongside Ayuso. Torstein Traeen<\/b> and Luka Mezgec<\/b> were also in the front group and did not finish the stage. Iv\u00e1n Romeo also crashed in that instance, but did not abandon.<\/p>\n Daan Hoole, Lindsay de Vylder, Bert van Lerberghe, Davide Piganzoli, Mathijs Paasschen, Robert Stannard, Piet Allegaert, Eddie Dunbar<\/b> and Roel van Sintmaartensdijk<\/b> also withdrew from the race. Oscar Onley<\/b>, Joshua Tarling<\/b> and Cl\u00e9ment Russo<\/b> were also affected by falls today.<\/p>\n Stage 5<\/p>\n Pascal Ackermann, Toms Skujins <\/b>and Casper van Uden<\/b> were all DNS at the start of the day. The peloton was then thinned even further during the stage as five riders abandoned, with David Gaudu, Milan Fretin, Luke Durbridge, Pavel Sivakov <\/b>and Stian Friedheim<\/b> all stepping off.<\/p>\n Stage 6<\/p>\n The race continued to see many departures. Julien Bernard, Rick Pluimers, Iv\u00e1n Romeo<\/b> and Oscar Onley <\/b>all did not show up at the start of the stage whilst Fabio Christen, Simon Dehairs<\/b> and Niklas M\u00e4rkl <\/b>did not finish it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
