{"id":824540,"date":"2026-03-14T04:54:13","date_gmt":"2026-03-14T04:54:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/824540\/"},"modified":"2026-03-14T04:54:13","modified_gmt":"2026-03-14T04:54:13","slug":"medical-reports-withdrawals-paris-nice-2026-stage-6","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/824540\/","title":{"rendered":"Medical reports &#038; withdrawals Paris-Nice 2026 stage 6"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&#13;<br \/>\nStage 1<\/p>\n<p><b>Kelland O&#8217;Brien <\/b>of Team Jayco AlUla abandoned the race within the first kilometers, following physical issues.<\/p>\n<p><b>Toms Skujins<\/b> crashed early in the day as well, whilst the final kilometer saw the fall of <b>Lenny Mart\u00ednez <\/b>and <b>Carlos Rodr\u00edguez <\/b>in separate instances; which can ultimately affect the outcome of the overall classification.<\/p>\n<p>Stage 2<\/p>\n<p>No DNFs, but multiple crashes during the day ensured if wasn&#8217;t a completely clean break for the peloton. Among those to go down were the likes of: <b>Patrick Gamper, Jonas Geens, Lindsay De Vylder, Eddie Dunbar, Callum Scotson, Cees Bol, Phil Bauhaus, <\/b>and <b>Sandy Dujardin.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Stage 3<\/p>\n<p>Nothing to note<\/p>\n<p>Stage 4<b><a href=\"https:\/\/cyclinguptodate.com\/juan-ayuso\" title=\"Juan Ayuso\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Juan Ayuso<\/a><\/b> crashed whilst on the lead of the race, however Lidl-Trek has confirmed there are no fractures for the Spaniard. In total, 14 other riders abandoned the race today, including at the very least <b><a href=\"https:\/\/cyclinguptodate.com\/brandon-mcnulty\" title=\"Brandon McNulty\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Brandon McNulty<\/a>, Pablo Castrillo<\/b> and <b>Raul Garc\u00eda Pierna <\/b>who crashed alongside Ayuso. <b>Torstein Traeen<\/b> and <b>Luka Mezgec<\/b> were also in the front group and did not finish the stage. Iv\u00e1n Romeo also crashed in that instance, but did not abandon.<\/p>\n<p><b>Daan Hoole, Lindsay de Vylder, Bert van Lerberghe, Davide Piganzoli, Mathijs Paasschen, Robert Stannard, Piet Allegaert, Eddie Dunbar<\/b> and <b>Roel van Sintmaartensdijk<\/b> also withdrew from the race. <b>Oscar Onley<\/b>, <b>Joshua Tarling<\/b> and<b> Cl\u00e9ment Russo<\/b> were also affected by falls today.<\/p>\n<p>Stage 5<\/p>\n<p><b>Pascal Ackermann, Toms Skujins <\/b>and <b>Casper van Uden<\/b> were all DNS at the start of the day.
