Stage 1<\/p>\n


\nNSN Cycling Team’s Oded Kogut<\/a><\/b> slid out painfully on the very first corner of his time-trial. The Israeli nevertheless finished the stage, albeit in last position.Stage 2<\/p>\n

Lennert van Eetvelt <\/b>was a DNS at the start of the day, with his Lotto-Intermarche team reporting lingering effects from a Strade Bianche crash<\/p>\n

On the stage itself, Martin Marcellusi <\/b>was involved in a scary moment as he somersaulted off-road and down an embankment. Thankfully though, he managed to get back on his bike finish the stage.<\/p>\n

Then in the gravel finale, the likes of Thymen Arensman<\/a><\/b>, Matteo Jorgenson<\/a><\/b> and Carlos Samudio<\/b> were among the riders to slide out painfully.Stage 3\u00a0<\/p>\n

Stage 4Alpecin-Premier Tech’s Michael Gogl<\/b> crashed whilst attempting to put on a rain jacket. The incident was then immediately made much scarier as a TV motorbike following behind went straight over him<\/a>. Thankfully, he was able to get back on his bike and finish the stage.Stage 5<\/p>\n

Fernando Gaviria<\/b> did not finish the stage whilst Xandro Meurisse<\/b> and Ilan van Wilder <\/b>were both DNS on the day.
