Justin Thomas sold his \u00a32.3million Florida mansion as he moved away from close friend and fellow golf<\/a> star Rickie Fowler.<\/a> The 31-year-old two-time PGA Championship<\/a> winner originally purchased the Pennock Point Road property in Jupiter in 2016 for \u00a31.1m, meaning he more than doubled his money when he sold it.<\/p>\n

Constructed in 2008, the house boasts four bedrooms, five-and-a-half bathrooms, multiple lounges, a games room and a covered patio bar.<\/p>\n

Thomas<\/a>, 32, initially acquired the prime real estate as he was rising on the PGA Tour, living close to Fowler and other top golf stars in the upmarket neighbourhood.<\/p>\n

However, he said goodbye to the property in 2022 to relocate to a new \u00a310m home on the Loxahatchee River, covering 7,600 square feet. Meanwhile, six-event PGA Tour<\/a> winner Fowler still resides on Pennock Point Road in a spectacular \u00a315m mansion, which he also purchased in 2016.<\/p>\n

Designed by Roger Janssen, the house features over 11,000 square feet of living space, six bedrooms and nine bathrooms. With soaring ceilings, the property also features a games room, a sports bar, a home cinema, verdant green spaces, a large pool and hot tub, an outdoor kitchen and even a golf hole, so he doesn’t have to go far to practice.<\/p>\n

Thomas and Fowler share a connection that extends beyond just being PGA Tour colleagues. They frequently spend time together away from the course, sharing rented properties during tournaments.<\/p>\n

They also holidayed in the Bahamas for Spring Break 2017 with Jordan Spieth and Smylie Kaufman, and even showed up together at Wimbledon in 2023. Despite no longer living next door to each other, their friendship seems to be stronger than ever.<\/p>\n

Thomas recently returned to competitive action for the first time since last year’s Ryder Cup, taking part in the Arnold Palmer Invitational after undergoing serious back surgery. Despite missing the cut after back-to-back rounds of 79 left him on 14 over, Thomas tried to put a brave face on things.<\/p>\n

He joked: “I know it’s been a while since we played, but these scores are a lot lower than I thought they would be.<\/p>\n

“It was kind of hard to say it was good to be back out. Not obviously how I expected it to go. But the rust aspect, unfortunately, was a little bit of what I anticipated. It is what it is.”<\/p>\n

Thomas has been in action at the Players Championship, playing the first two rounds with Scottie Scheffler<\/a> and Tommy Fleetwood.<\/p>\n
