Police discovered a number of counterfeit goods after raiding two off-licences. Yesterday (Friday, March 13), South Liverpool Neighbourhood Policing Team joined forces with Trading Standards for a targeted operation in Woolton<\/a> Village and along Allerton<\/a> Road.<\/p>\n

Police said the operation was to target counterfeit goods<\/a>. Officers first visited Woolton <\/a>Convenience Store on Woolton Road where an employee tried to hide his car key behind bags of crisps inside the shop. After searching <\/a>his car, officers uncovered counterfeit cigarettes concealed in the boot.<\/p>\n

Goods were seized <\/a>and enquiries are ongoing. Officers then visited Rose Lane Mart on Rose Lane, off Allerton <\/a>Road in Mossley Hill.<\/a> Inside, they seized counterfeit Labubu items and fake Stitch keyrings. These items pose significant safety risks, including choking hazards and toxic materials.<\/p>\n

Merseyside Police said the joint operation highlights the force\u2019s continued commitment to working with partners to keep south Liverpool safe, support local businesses and disrupt criminal activity.<\/p>\n
