Fans are freaking out about a \u201cnew\u201d Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet<\/a> website, but it\u2019s nothing to get excited about at all<\/a>.<\/p>\n

We\u2019re not sure why chatter about the PlayStation.com<\/a> page started to circulate today, but a look back at Archive.org<\/a> confirms the page has existed, in its current format, since January 2025.<\/p>\n

That makes sense, because the Naughty Dog exclusive was announced at The Game Awards<\/strong><\/a> in December 2024, so we suspect the page was uploaded shortly thereafter.<\/p>\n

Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet PlayStation site is now live! <\/p>\n

Game description:
Set thousands of years in the future, Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet puts players into the role of Jordan A. Mun, a dangerous bounty hunter who ends up stranded on a distant planet known as\u2026 pic.twitter.com\/KlF28c1cpa<\/a><\/p>\n

It\u2019s populated by the same assets and information we\u2019ve seen before, and describes the release as the \u201cnewest franchise from Naughty Dog\u201d.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s what the blurb says:<\/p>\n

\u201cSet thousands of years in the future, Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet puts players into the role of Jordan A. Mun, a dangerous bounty hunter who ends up stranded on a distant planet known as Sempiria.<\/p>\n

Again, all of this information has existed on the same URL since at least January 2025, so there\u2019s nothing to get excited about here.<\/p>\n

Fans had taken the emergence of the website as \u201cevidence\u201d of some kind of upcoming re-reveal, but seeing as the page has existed for well over a year now, we\u2019re not buying that.<\/p>\n

Of course, with a 2027 release date expected<\/a>, we\u2019ll be seeing more of Jordan and Naughty Dog\u2019s new adventure relatively soon, we suspect.<\/p>\n
